MARION TECHNICAL COLLEGE

The Workforce Solutions program at Marion Technical College (MTC) helps more than 75 companies significantly reduce turnover costs by selecting the right people, the first time. The program trains hundreds of individuals each year to improve skills that lead to business success and provides training, employee selection, assessments and certifications and employment resources. Whether your organization is for-profit, non-profit, private, public or government, they have 30 years of experience helping employers get results in a wide variety of industries. They can work with your business to design and select customized training that can be delivered at a specific location, on the MTC Mobile Lab or at MTC. Online non-credit training is also available through the program to help your employees improve critical skills from home.

THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY MARION

Workforce development takes many forms at The Ohio State University at Marion. Ohio State Marion offers the rigor and depth of an Ohio State education delivered in a smaller, more intimate setting. Students can begin any of Ohio State’s 200 majors on the Marion Campus (before making the seamless transition to the Columbus campus) and can complete all four years of ten different majors right here in Marion! One of the programs that can be completed in Marion is the Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology. The engineering technology program instills skills that integrate business and leadership principles with engineering processes and technical knowledge. Internships and co-ops are available.

RAMTEC Ohio (Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing Technology Education Collaborative) is known throughout the nation as a flagship school for robotics training and is the only provider of Robotics & Advanced Manufacturing Industry Certifications. They provide training and certifications in FANUC Robotics, Motoman Robotics, Parker Hydraulics, Mitsubishi PLC, Allen Bradley PLC, Lincoln Robotic Welding and Welding & Fabrication.

TRI-RIVERS CAREER CENTER

Tri-Rivers Career Center serves Marion, Ohio by providing nationally-recognized industry certifications and workforce training for high school and adult students. Through apprenticeship training, students are trained on-site leading to employment in industrial maintenance at companies such as Whirlpool or Vaughn Industries. Additionally, the School of Nursing offers Healthcare Training leading with certifications and diplomas for PN, LPN and RN.
